A Brief History of the Founder of Joshua of Nigera and Global Peace Initiative

Growing up in Nigeria, Joshua Onche was deeply troubled by the pervasive social ills that plagued his country, including tribalism, corruption, division, poverty and violence. Despite these challenges, Joshua remained steadfast in his conviction that a better world was possible.
To inspire positive change, Joshua started a television program called “PHILOSOPHY OF LIFE” on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Makurdi Benue State and NTA Channel 5 Abuja, Nigeria as far back as 1998.
This platform allowed him to share his vision with a wider audience and encourage Nigerians to re-examine their mental attitudes.
Joshua also hosted a radio program, “BUILDING A BETTER NIGERIA WITH JOSHUA OF NIGERIA” on Radio Benue in Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria in 2020. Through these media outlets, Joshua spread his message of a better world and a better life.

After facing numerous setbacks and disappointments, Joshua founded the NGO Joshua of Nigeria and Global Peace Initiative in 2016. This marked a significant milestone in his journey to create a better world.
Today, together with his teeming members he is building a strong network of people for a better world.
Joshua’s story serves as a testament to the power of perseverance and the impact one person can have when driven by a compelling vision.
